He ended up with my old Monarch a few years ago. Man has wicked skills. Good to hear a rebuild is in order.
Shifter problems.....or possibly, is there a residual pressure valve in the brakes? Could it not be releasing?

Is the door itself unique? I always thought it was just the window frame??

I have seen a factory 250 hp fuelie with the turboglide. I don't think that trans was available with the 283 hp motor.
