I agree, I have a 56 Linc with a 368. When people look under the hood of a Lincoln, they want to see a Lincoln even if its not pretty.
My Lincoln is slightly lower in the back by about 1". [ATTACH]

My brother just brought home his baby boy in his 57 Pontiac. He welded up some metal loops (like in new cars) and the car seat just snaps right in.
