The Jalopy Journal
I was reading that it was a fast car for the day (70 mph). I wonder how it rated among the bootleggers.
They're very similar. I was only thinking it was a Ford because of the radiator cap. As far as hers the emblem looks like a Chevy bowtie but...
The guy on the right is in this pic, which I assume is in Chicago. I wonder what's in the guitar case... [ATTACH]
I'd almost say yes except the one in the pic has a widow's peak at the top of the radiator chrome similar to late 20's Fords and Auburns.
Him = Ford? Her = Chevy? [IMG]
I'll go out on a limb and say this car is a 1927 Auburn Model 6-66, maybe with an aftermarket radiator mascot: [ATTACH]
Lol. That one is a postcard from Ranger, Texas. They had some torrential rain following a drought in the late 1910s that shut the whole place...

Any guesses about #6 (the shaving pic)? Wood spoke wheels, rear suicide doors, a radiator cap deco, chrome-trimmed headlights, and a pipe bumper...
The first pic is Grandpa's niece from 1933 when she was part of some kind of traveling show. The rest are from him and he was a barber for years....
I dug out my grandpa's pics. Lots of old cars but not sure what any of them are. Cars from this era look too similar to me. Some of you might...
Just the way I like 'em. Unchopped, built just like someone in the late-40s early 50s would. That's what I plan to do when I acquire a T/A.
So do these tanks suck the fluid back in when needed?
And the best part is that you can easily drop in a hot newer Chevy straight-6 for even more fun.
Sorry for your loss.

Gorgeous car! What's the rules on right vs. left-handed drive down under? I read that my 71 truck would have to be converted to be legal there.
It looks liek you need it gone ASAP; I won't be back to FT Hood for another two weeks; and the wife won't be able to do it herself. And after...
Just figuring out the logistics of it all.
PM sent. Only issue is that I get back to Fort Hood, TX from Afghanistan the week of the Roundup.
Could you acquire a Duraspark II setup from a later model 302? I replaced the points in my truck with a DSII and it has been very reliable...
Tagged for when I get my rod.
How did you do it?
LOL. Sorry guys, I typed this one out this morning before going on a long field trip here. I'm not looking for something like Grant makes. I...
That isn't a shining example of over-machined billet? Looking for something to put in my non-HAMBable truck, but I want something classy like a...
I have the Ford Motor Company ones on my '71 F100. [IMG] $15 for the set at the Charlotte Auto Show a couple years back.
I'd give you mine but we are about to redeploy in a month. Oh what the hell, PM otw.
Are you positive the dizzy is not 180* out?
