Started with a 56 Desoto Hemi, added a 39 Ford transmission and then a rear axle with a Winters Quick change. it was really done one piece at a time with months and years between some of the pieces. This is silver leaf with a red outline.

Added this bumper guard from a V8 ford. I picked this up at Hershey 2011. It won't protect me in a crash but it provides some protection when manuvering in tight spaces.

32 dash was wood grained with equipment and materials bougth from U Grain It Technologies at the 2010 Hershey fall meet. Nto as easy as they make it look at their booth and on line.

Early V8 Ford e-brake modified to fit. I used components from Lokar. I had to weld couplings to rear baking plates to attach cables. worked out well.

Interior was stiched by a friend and wrapped on panels made from 1/8" plastic sign material. Drum base pedal for the gas pedal and the seat was from a Doddge Caravan (center seat).

37 ford steering column and truck drop with ignition lock and switch used. Installed roller bearings at top and bottom of shaft. I ended up using a Unisteer box but find that, while steering effort in minimal, the turning radius is poor.

Mock up completed. the ladder bar crossmember will need to be moved up to finalize the pinion angle. It is just tacked in at this point.

1956 Desoto S-24 block used. I have used a Adventurer two four barrel cast iron manifold with Cater 500 cfm units. Ignition is an older Mallory dual point, centrifugal advance unit with coil. Headman headers and entire exhaust were coated and polished.
