RockAuto has rebuilt 12V generators for the 223 engine at $38.99 (AC Delco brand). Bought one last month, part number is 334-1001.
Looks great, the chrome reverse wheels will really make it. Patience pays off again.

Didn't clean the piston ring grooves, smoked worse than before the rebuild. The oak tree limb in the backyard got a nice workout that summer.
