I believe the cracks are from being hit, not stress. I would weld it up and go.
A lot of times the snout on front of the transmission wears out from the throw out bearing riding on it. I always check that when replacing clutch.

If it is safety glass (laminated) a good glass man should be able to cut it. Yes, it would be best to make a pattern.

Worked great for me. A.C. vent and controls. Have to remove dash to install.

looks like 36-38 with outer center cap chromed instead of painted.
GM put springs on the bolts for exhaust manifold to exhaust pipe for a reason. It does absorb vibration.
