The Jalopy Journal
well, here it is. not perfect by any means. lots of homemade parts. But it does go up and down the road.
I really don't have any idea. I know there was an 33 Hudson. A 50 Studebaker Pickup and a 36 Chrysler Airflow that were there once upon a time.
That makes sense. The guy who had these had a 50 Studebaker pick-up. Thanks for the info.
I recently ran across this mess of flathead engines. Three straight 8's a straight 6 and a 4 banger. One straight 8 clearly says Hudson on the...
The hood sides actually fit, they are just off in the pictures. All that I ended up doing was pulling the center up on the top and pulling the...
Making a little progress, Very Slowly.
I do understand that. Thanks.
Thought it was old Ford radio. Just didn’t know what year. Thank you.

its a 33 cab
I cut out the fill job on where the cap hole was, and it was filled with lead by the way. once I got that all removed and did a little creative...
It may be lonely at the top, but its a bitch at the bottom.
the hood and the side measures correctly. I think I will just find another shell.
if I raise the front of the hood or lower the front of the cab it throws off the hood side to cowl line or the hood side to fender (frame) line.
yes, the whole floor was missing. the floor has yet to be replace but the cab is mocked up where it needs to be., or really damn close. I...

I’ll get more pictures tomorrow. Thanks for everyone’s input. The help is greatly appreciated
The line at the cowl is acceptable. As well as the line at the bottom of the hood sides.
I see what you are saying. I may be able to bend it back but I’m not certain. As bad as it’s been hacked maybe I’ll try to find a different shell.
The hood sides line up with the fenders like they should. If the cab was to or down the sides would be off.
No filled holes for the stainless trim. I’m scratching my head also. Everything I read says it’s a 33 shell but it doesn’t fit.
Do you have a pic of the front of the shell?
According to the information I have found the hood measures correctly in the center and on the sides.
I don’t really know. From what I have read it’s a 33. But I’m not a expert by any means.
I can cut and add and make the gaps correct but I shouldn’t have too. If it’s the wrong shell I will Try and find the correct one.
I have the cab un-channeled and in what I believe is the correct position. It’s difficult to know if it’s perfect because the whole floor was...
Updated my info, just to make you happy
If it’s the wrong grille shell, What is it for? And it is steel.
I get that but the lines are wrong. And the angle of the top of the grille shell is all wrong. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
