Really nice work! Chip turned out wicked and the rear wheel wells look mint! Matt
I did the same on my Mallory Flathead conversion. Drilled the cap for 8mm resistor wire and it works great. I used the pertronix in combination...
11” in my roadster with the Scot blower (Ram diaphragm) and it’s pretty heavy. I have a 10” stock ford style in my sedan and it’s much lighter...
This will be awesome! Looking forward to the journey
My opinion- don’t risk all that hard work on your hotrod for a $200 battery. It really depends what actually the drill bit hit, and what could...
Fantastic build Neal!!

Fantastic time capsule!
This is OUTSTANDING! Great thread!
Not sure how I missed this one! Truly amazing craftsmanship here!
Very nice build!!
That’s backwards- if you shorten the pitman arm, you are increasing your overall ratio and reducing effort. If you shorten the spindle steer arm...
Sooo good!! Your roadster is one of my favorites- it should look really cool with the black wheels too!

[ATTACH] [ATTACH] I have found with really low 32’s it’s better to run the tie rod under the wishbone otherwise you can end up hitting the crank...
Send it!! Sounds like a great adventure! I personally would put thermostats in it to increase operating temps, as 100 degree running temp would...
I have found that the aftermarket adjustable vacuum units can provide too much advance. The older points style Chevy distributors vacuum cans...
Love your build, great craftsmanship and attention to detail, love the SBC- your gonna have a freaking blast with this hot rod when it’s done!! Matt
