We I drained the old oil there was 6 1/2 quarts in it and didn't know if that was right
Well it's a 57 392 out of a imperial but somebody put a rear sump pan on it and put it in a 56 desoto. I didn't really know how many quarts of oil...
Can any one measure a dip stick length for a rear sump hemi oil pan for me with overall length , the add line , and full line please
its nuthing more than about a 5/8s spacer right

i have a half ton with a big 6 its great motor
casting numbers dont tell between 292 and 312 is my understanding you are goin to have to pull the pan or check the back of the crank
looks liks strait trim off a 55 ford customline
find a place that does recaping for big trucks they do it for us

the truck has tortion bars on the front instead of coils while leting the front down alittle bit the nut on the arm bolt broke just wondering if...
