Got some good video of you in the mud; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uw37cX4hIbs
Video so far, working on pictures as we speak. [MEDIA] Overcast this year, but it kept the temperatures pretty mellow. Better than getting sun...
It has 1'' of snow on it right now. I think it's been outside for 50+ years, a few more inches of snow won't hurt it.
Went to an auction last Saturday in Kempton PA, and drug this 28-29 Model A chassis home. I already had two bare chassis, but this one was nicer,...
Trans will shift earlier than it should without it hooked up. Not a problem if you manually shift it, or have a shift kit which will hold the gear...
I've known people who have blown up TH350's doing this and insist they don't need that cable. It does effect the shift points under normal...
Yeah, thats what I'm reading. Ugly though lol. From what I'm seeing, looks like most if not all of the ford OE axles have little to no drop...
Aside from looks, any reason not to go with a speedway tube axle for simplicity? Only thing I don't like about it is the hairpins.
Chevy's of the 40's makes a conversion pump for cars. A stock 54+ pump might clear in a truck though.
Sorry, talking about front axles. I'm using the 8'' from a late 60's Fairlane.
So I have a large pile of parts, and now that I've bought a house and moved in I'm ready to get building this thing. So far I have two 28...
I also use oven cleaner, it really works well. It will even take the old paint off, just spray it and get out! I also use a wire wheel on a...
Just finished uploading the other video; [MEDIA]
Dual Jets showed up in 79, on Malibu's at least. My 78 had a 2GC with a hot-air choke, my 79's both had Dual Jets.
Second with the boat carbs, you can at least rob the choke setup off of one.

I use a Chrysler ballast resistor, Autozone part #AL795. It's what I use with all my points vehicles, or anything else I wire up with points....
Yeah I believe with the box, or maybe just the MSD cap/rotor, it comes with both. It's been a while since I looked at it, I swapped out my HEI for...
Make sure you are using the right coil button. If I remember right you cannot use the carbon style button with an MSD, you have to use the copper...
Starting to upload some vids I took from the Jalopy Drags this year. So far I have the wheelie contest uploaded; [MEDIA] More to come as...
Well since the thread is already bumped, anyone seen this thing yet? Much um... more raw and sketchy. [MEDIA]
Use the oil fill tube for the breather (make sure the cap is setup to be a breather, not a sealed cap), and drill the back of the intake for the...
The goldish green F100 was my favorite car. That olive green Ford in the pictures before was a close second.
