i believe the ratio of shackle length to lift height is something like 1.5-2:1? so 3 inches of lift would be like 6 inch shackles.....

my dads a barber, his shop is in a converted house in our back yard, as you drive in you see my 54 and 31 and his 55 pu (all chevys)
this is definitely gettin me ready to go to the march meets woo! i love the smell of burnin rubber in the morning
