The Jalopy Journal
Car shows are a lot like the HAMB if you think about it... A bunch of people celebrating and discussing specific vehicles and relevant (mostly)...
Great looking ride. Can't wait to see more updates.
Liking everything so far.
Great thread. Thanks for snapping all the pics. I'm digging the Nailhead in that green bobber truck on the previous page.
Here's the one I used to have. Sold it earlier this year.
Awesome build. I'll be following this one.
Really cool project.
Porter mufflers are cool (and trad).
This thing is rad!
It's coming along nicely!
Coming along nicely- those tail lights are sweet.
I really like these kinds of customs. I'll be following this one for sure!
Feels good, doesn't it? Bored yet?
I'm annoyed that I can't get this thing to roll around with how the brakes are. Is this common for Buicks, or even old cars in general?
That motor is a thing of beauty. You're doing an awesome job. I love the thoroughness.
I love seeing pics of traditional cars that aren't from the era. Thanks for sharing these pics, this is a great thread.
Good deal finding it! I bet it feels great. Now, get it on there!
I believe it's a Ford Aerostar spring from the '90s. I've heard guys using them to lower the front ends. I'm not sure about raising it up.
That thing is different. I want one. :D
Was there anything on the truck that would make it unique? Like it was said, styles change. Was there anything "under the skin" of the truck...
You learn something new every day- two things, usually, on the HAMB.
Nice little rig you got there.
Sorry to hear about your setbacks. It's coming together though, so don't give up on it. This thing is cool.
That was one hell of a trip! Best thread I've looked at in a long while.
Great pictures, thanks for posting those. That looks like a really fun show.
I'm lovin' that '55 Buick, but I got a soft spot for that '57...
That chop is righteous. '39 and '40 chopped Mercs are so cool- quite possibly my favorite customs.
