once you start your cut, you can turn off the acetylene (or gas) and cut (burn) with just the oxygen. the acetylene is just to get the flame...

i drive my 54 chevy every day to work and everywhere else i need to go within the county, just like it was meant to do.
why not make a shifter linkage to move it over to the right hand side of the cab? similar to transverse mounted fwd drive cars.
ive moved the battery to the truck on a few cars.
i used 1/0 welding cable with SOLDERED on lugs. this is not a place you want to use crimp on...

i ordered the dual circuit brake kit and new lines from national chevy assoc., everything went in nice and easy. now its time to bleed the brakes....
