The yellow 35 and Nash is mine and the wifes cars. She drives the 35 and I drive the Nash. We have had the 35 for 45 years.
My truck was on the cover of LMC truck cataloge last fall for 60 - 66 Chevy trucks. Had a short story inside, they call it lmc truck life.

The bushings should be the same as the old mustang 2 units.
Looks like it is slowly rubbing a hole in the hose. Not a good feeling when a line pops at 70 mph.

We put a 76 maverick 8-inch rear end in my sons 60 lark wagon in just a few hours. Fits good and got a good gear for hiway driving.

I agree with carbking check out the second picture at the top, looks like it is pushing the choke shut.
I use them on the rear of my nash with a compressor and air tank to raise and lower when needed.
I would not put clear over the patina I do not like that look, my 2 cents worth.
I have 3d printed turn signal lens on the front of my 50 nash.
I use fuel filters that have check valves built in so fuel will not siphon back to the tank. Works good for me.
Our 35 coupe has been on the road for 43 years and 210,000 miles.
I have had that problem before and found the bushing on the distributor shaft would seize up when engine got hot and turn the whole distributor.
