Early seventies is when they became popular on the street.
4 doors were sedans.
2 doors were sedan coupes unless they were a Catalina hardtop or a business coupe.
At least that's what GM called them ;)

The best stuff is called Goop from any hardware store. Works better than silicon.

As stated above ball joint spacers are for drag racing not raising the front end. You use them between the upper control arm and the upper ball...

Sounds like the electric choke needs adjusting maybe a couple of notches too rich.
