The Jalopy Journal
WOOHOO! nice work scott! way to get some progress on that thing because i've been stalking this thread for an update.
there's a show july 3rd at san diego rods and customs
Two 40 ford stering wheels, and turn signal switch, exhaust manifold, a pair of '50 pontiac taillights, and some bitchen clear plug wires. i don't...
i vote to chop it, but whatever YOU think is best. its YOUR car do whatever makes YOU happy not someone else.
"grumpy looking" thats a new one. ill have to remember that.
nooo! dont change them one bit. they look perfect with the car, and dont even think about losing the whitewalls. your thinking about it too much....
not a whole lot of visual progress, just a bunch of little things like rebuilding the brakes, rearend work, etc. but i got to move it home last...
i love the 40's look!
wow! i love it. one day...
looks really good!
This weeks updates!!
i built the panhard bar
got the floor skeleton just about done
p.s. the driveshaft isnt in all...
Thanks! no worries, but the floors should be done by tomorrow. thanks anyways though.
hmmm. so you are suggesting that i somehow have a bracket on both sides of where the heim mounts to the frame rail?
haha exactly. but when its important i do, i just dont think about it sometimes. ill try to be better. after all its only surface rust!
ill take that as a compliment. :) im not really sure but it can't hurt! i still have a lot more to do on the subfloor though.
haha. thanks man! im shooting for may 16, but my garage won't be finished for another couple weeks. It'll be close!
its a cnc pedal and master combo. they are local here in san diego and are usually used on dunebuggies.
yea, check out Josh's Street Rods and San Diego Rods and Customs. Both are great guys

i have no idea what your talking about
but on another note, is it necessary to put a k-member in or are there any real advantages? ive been...
I finally got the body squared and mounted today. i made the mounts out of pre-fabbed tabs and im using 1/8 in. rubber in between.
My suspension is done and im just finishing up a few other things on the chassis before it heads off to powdercoating.
heated and bent...
Jim Sibley would have it done in a weekend
NOOOOO! don't touch that thing! It's beautiful! maybe its time for a new custom project?
happy birthday jim.
