Funny - it is a 66 283 w. 520 heads. they say it was a fresh rebuild.
It's been awhile for me - but can I get a read on these head gaskets and valves. Motor ran fine. Just looking to freshen up and do some top end....

So the original 65-67 Chevy II 283 (if the re-builder used stock pistons) will have relief pistons?
Might as well pull the heads easier to do springs on the bench. What's a few more bolts.
