Any more pics of the Obsolete Technology Challenge board?
So we can play at home.
From the Green Book:
Wishbone: 1937 - 1940 (car) and 1937 - 1941 (pickup) are the same.
1941 (car) is different. Should have...
The bed is a 'T'. 1926-27.
A wider bed (late 1931 and later) may fit the cab better, looks wise.
Not sure if this the right thread to ask, but any info on the engine pictured below would be great.
Excellent project from top to bottom, front to back.
Where is the source of the RHD steering parts? England, Oz, NZ, or?
And what it takes to...
If it was July 4, I would have an idea, but since it is July 6 I guess you just have to kill weeds with it.
Looks like mech brakes and 32 - 36 front axle.
I vote 1935.
For front fenders, 32's are the same between pickup and BB.
And 33-34's are as well. But 32's don't work on 33-34.

Fast forward to 6:50 in the movie.
From Wichita KS Starbird Show Jan 2009:
Looks like a headlight bar, fenders, and back window from a 30 or 31.
It doesn't seem to be marked anywhere, and I don't have the box.
Check out Jim Marlett's website: www.flatheaddrag.com
Maybe he will notice this thread and add some info.
Here is a pic of "Whitey" mentioned...
On google search: United States Patent 3304125
Patent applied for in 1965 and granted in 1967.
Patents are hard to read, but from what I...

If so, the Ford Part number is: BB-1175-C
Or try National (Timken) Part number: 5751
A good NAPA, bearing...
I agree. They are good pieces. Nothing is a "drop in" anyway.
Also quite a bit of good info here:
Do you know what magazine or book this is from?
Check out the "Banger Meets" on the HAMB for a lot of info.
And here for a chart on a few different configurations of an "A" engine:...
Victor J27 with 000 tip:
Does it have a raised deck surface under the intake manifold?
