If they used a cut-off wheel to remove the bearings / races, they might have cut enough of a groove in the axle that lets the gear oil seep out.
Make sure you take pictures and post them here so we can see how it turns out!
Also open the garage door and push the car back a bit until the rear wheels are at the end of the garage pad - to give you more working room at...

Try re-routing your fuel line away from any warm / hot...

I have the same problem as Jimv - except I get either the right or the left brake light to work, but not both. I checked both bulbs, attached...
