I have considered a 231/od in my ‘63.
The came with a V6, as well as the 215.
Not sure if the V6 is similar to 231 though.

I have a set of NOS 16" that won't fit my XJS.
I'm using a L31 crate SBC, back dated as much as I can.

XKE IFS were torsion bars and XK6/XKS are coils. IIRC
Also look into the XK rear, it make an awesome/affordable package.

I have a set of Jaguar XJ 16x6.5 steel wheels…..not sure they will work with my sombreros yet though.

I used Kanter for my Rocketbird and a year later had a squeak……found most of the rubber was shot.
