Getting close to firing my 21 stud and wondering what jets and pv to be used on it for initial start up. Thanks for any info.

Oh I’ve already got stuff coming. Sharp heads, a cam and dual carb intake.
@railcarmover got a guy interested and said he’s coming for it this weekend. We’ll see.
Farewell banger friends. It was fun while it lasted.
That’s what I was concerned about his website. Usually when you see that they have gone under.
Thank you. I got gene’s number and will give a ring.
Other than Mac’s speed in New Zealand who in the states makes a transmission adapter for Flathead v8 to the Ford F-150 T170 RTS trans? Thanks.
It’s stock now because the guy pulled it from his car. It will have 3/4 cam, sharp heads and sharp dual intake with 97s on top. Lake headers also.
Someone buy the banger.....
Black oil pan is a must with red.
Has anyone seen one of these? What’s the deal with it. I’m thinking model T head. [ATTACH][ATTACH]
-17” wheels. 525 front 650 rear
- Winfield S carb. No fuel pump. Gravity.
@V4F power lines are at average height on a telephone pole....
One more to get this October going on here.
Before you know it we’ll have white stuff on the ground.
Got the desoto tail lights on and a dodge caravan seat in. Feels so much better driving now. Lowered the column an inch but going to go a bit...
@David Mazza stock bottom end babbit rebuild with .060 over pistons. . Unknown cam but doesn’t feel or sound stock. No numbers on it. Winfield...
Not my cup of tea....... Done right or to the hill....
@modelAsteve this car will never have a sbc in it. That’s a sin.
@V4F settle down now.
The sound and look of the flat v8 vs the banger. Mine is no slouch but I just have a love for a v8 over the banger. Banger is still cool but I'm...
Hello October. Heavy thinking but after this year it’s going 35 to early 40s flatty. As much as I kept convincing myself to keep it banger I’m...
@johnneilson thanks. I don’t mind my 3:78 gear for rolling around town. But in 1/8 mile racing I’d really like to switch close to a 4:56-5:12.
@97. Thank you. I saw the winters gear chart before and got confused thinking it was talking about gear width not the shaft size.
@97 I know they make the 6 spline 1 3/8” shaft gears but an old halibrand 101 needs 6 spline 1” shaft gears.
Thanks gents. The next question is where can I find these qc gears. Does someone repop them ?
Question. We’re the halibrand 101 qc gears out back the same as the halibrand v8 gears. Looking to scoop up a hali 101 but it has no rear gears.
I did seat of the pants feel for my timing. Runs good though. Haven't even checked the plugs yet
I don’t know if I’ll pressurize the motor. If I can get away without I’ll do it but if I have to then I’ll have to cough up the $$$$.
Yes. They have their insert bearings to use in the motor. I’ll be doing that and their inserted rods to go with it.
Burlington has them in stock ready to roll.
