The Jalopy Journal
Insert stupid commet here.
Hi Dale !
Went with ET's (ending up being a dealer)
This chassis went away over a year ago.
I always wanted to try this.
So..went to Radio shack,spent $10.00
And made a little tag last night.
I didn't spend anytime trying to be...
Not sure if the detail will show in the pick...
The two I have sitting nearby (on the shop stereo)
both have the fox logo.
Never heard of that one.
I'd better go look at the ones I have...
yes,it will fit a gm column,
and it will fit a tapered and keyed early Ford column.
Stock is 17"
Limeworks does a 16" for stock columns.
The 15" I have is designed for GM columns, and it will bolt onto a stock column
rear radius rods bolt on to axle tube, spring hanger atached to radius rods,
straight spring rear
spring ahead of axle in front.
Blue One, I guess you have never seen what I was talking about.
The set screw is like a #10 screw
I've seen tube axles that only use a set screw for the king pin.
Maybe that's what he has. Then what?
Kaydub,love that car.
If I need a boost,I go and look at the build pictures.
That Dave Lane guy is pretty crafty
I didn't read the whole post.(too many words)
I like pictures.
Customers coupes..all on my frame..
some schmoe has this one.
Does it look like stock Willys ?
Anybody out there know what the brakes (10" dia) spindles,etc..
come from originally? Does the axle look familar?
6 to go !
Colorado kid's roadster..moc'd up last week
