The Jalopy Journal
My old 98 coupe. I rebuilt the brakes right through but drums all round on a big heavy car are far from ideal.
So Paul had on sold Wild Honey at some stage? It looks like his mate Kiwigasser hasn't been on here for over 3 years.
I would love to know it's...
We have a winner.
Hopefully the OP has this well sorted by now, given he asked the question 4 years ago.
Enjoy it. We are well into winter down here and it is bloody cold. Would love a bit of sunshine about now.
Paul beat me to it.
There will be a serial number stamped into the block on the side. A small flat area still visible when the head is on.
I have a list of those...
I am sure he is happy to be corrected 5 years after posting.
A few more pics. [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
Haha. I don't know if I have another build in me. Enjoying the Chev coupe these days.
I will see if I can find a pic when it had the flames on it....
It changed hands a couple of times after I sold it. Unfortunately one of them decided the street rod look was preferable so the 4" dropped 32 axle...
Thanks. I wish it was still sitting in my garage.
We had alot of fun building and driving it back in the day.

So that porn site is Bonnyville with a Y? Just asking for a friend.
Looks like fun. I especially like the first photo, it always pays to have a sober driver on a big day out. LOL.
Great to see you looking well (and your Mum).
Have certainly missed your epic road trip stories.
I guess if all else fails you can fill in the afternoon playing noughts and crosses?
What was it primed with? Epoxy hopefully.
I will follow this with interest. I have always wanted a roadster or roadster pick up, but at 6'4" I have yet to sit in one and feel comfortable....
Cool. Strange way to mount the exterior mirror?
9 kids? How do you find time to work on a car?
I'm standing by my first guess, only now I have seen them I believe them to be off a Mark 2 flying saucer.
After alot of research I believe they hold the tail lights on a flying saucer.
See Google can be your friend.
As I said in my previous post nothing much is interchangeable with Buick and Caddy.
I think you will be very sorry if you start ordering those...
Nice looking car. A friend of mine has a restored one here, I imagine there are only a couple of them in NZ.
I have a 56 98 convert (long term project) and a few years ago sold my 56 98 sport coupe.
To the best of my knowledge the only interchangeable...
Are you in contact with Kenny? If so can you tell him Russell from New Zealand said Hi.
I was going to mention Kenny as well. I have been to his shop, great guy.
I'm not sure he is on the HAMB much these days.
If you want a phone...
