Look at your backing plates for adjuster slot. Yes, check over the brake system as already mentioned. Pedal does not go to the floor just like that.
Sorry no help but Holy Swiss Cheese!
Please, no corrupting my mind. :)
Yup, beer thirty according to your post time.
Who was it that said "a picture is worth 1000 words"? I put up two!
Guy's thanks for all the offer's. If I don't get back to you it's because I've already accepted brackets from a member already.
Thanks for the offer. The one you speak of is the high mount one correct? If so it uses a different adjuster arm that mounts to both water pump...
Pay closer attention to some of those shipping cost's.
Problem is I'm laid off due to Covid. The vast majority of my personal tools are still there. All the big stuff that makes this super easy to make...
No kidding. I've skipped on them for a long time. Now that I need to go them again, well, you know why I/we can't go.
For manifolds. As for finding, that's not the problem. As I stated I'm not spending big many to be correct. I just need something that works with...

What's the average number of time they had to get out per tank? Or did you lose your human gauge before a number could be had?:D
Power plant :D
Look at gauge at 3 o'clock position, you'll see a ground symbol outside of circle. Now look inside of circle that represents gauge housing. You'll...
The whole cluster can have ground to it but oxidation can happen at the gauge and cluster. Only way to fix that is pull whole cluster back out. :(
Be sure that gas tank and dash cluster are both well grounded before moving forward with replacing parts.
Just remember how I learned of them. Give Nick of Chopit Kustom a call (714) 226-0860 and ask for brake shop that works on older vehicles.
Damn I can not remember name of shop. But they are out in your area. They do vintage brake work.
That still will not cure your key removal issue.
What Jim say's is true. I can not see if this is a column shift or floor shift. Any ways outer steering tube that rotates needs to be repositioned...
Actually Heinz uses a K. But I also like Hormel Chili with shredded Kraft cheese on my fries as well.
Once again, thanks for all the early info provided per my original question on this thread. This 283 will be striped to become near 1956 as it can...
The 2 1/2" isn't necessarily for this 283. One never knows what's coming in the future. So since I have to graph from split dual's of the L6's...
Thanks for all the reply's everyone. I know California is something else when it comes to smog. I just do so little stuff as compared to some of...
