Like it! Lots of work, but I think the factory should of built it, probably would of outsold the Falcon Ranchero!
I think it's a great idea, in fact I'm looking for a '59 -'62 Stude wagon right now...gonna' run a SBC with a 700R4, add disc brakes, sway bars,...
Thanx guys, think the smushed Rambler is not the way to go though, themoose, seems to have a better idea. The ranchero version, looks like too...
OK, themoose, let's try this again, and hopefully, somebody won't steal the pic again!
OK you PhotoShop Masters, can you make this cool...I'm thinking maybe in a bright red, with your choice of wheels, I kinda like Salt Flats, but...
So, anybody got an idea as to what they might fit, or are they just a common accessory?
Good point, think these were damaged in the box as it was crushed, but who knows...They DO have "clips" on the outside edge to hold them on the rim.
Just picked up this Caddy at an "antique" store, it's 12 inches long, & [ATTACH] weighs a ton!
Have a set of these trim rings 15 inch in diameter, with a 9 1/2 opening in the center, and have mounting clips around the outside edge as well,...
OK, OK, sorry about the Hurst Mags, they don't look the same on the car as they do in the great pic posted by Madfish...my bad!
I was talking about the ones Rot N Kustom put on the car!
Good idea, and how about painting it black with a black top, with those Chrysler wires?
And Yup, loose those AutoZone hupcaps!
Got some paint and Valve covers on the new engine that's going in my '49, yeah, gotta' put the rest of the stuff on it I know. . . [ATTACH]
Well Moose, that just goes to show Ya', "you can't please all the people all the time" ;)
Just saw where Hershey has been cancelled!
How can I get one of those T-shirts?
Ah Hell Moose, I was afraid you would get me started on another project...
Thanx for the work, I think:confused:
Would one of you Pshop experts be so kind as to help me decide if I should start another project or not by giving this little wagon an altitude...
OK, I'll play, mine would be a '59 - 62 Stude wagon, V-8 three speed w/OD. Put a under dash AC unit in it, front & rear sway bars, upgrade to...
Hope this qualifies, it's the "Cad" engine out of a '77 Seville in my "49 Cad...
Looks pretty good, now how about loosing a few of those teeth, uh, bumper guards?
Thanx for the info, never heard of Gendrons, gotta be old, I'm sure that pic was taken around 1900 or so, and in San Antonio..
I'd give these guys a try: http://www.modifiedcadillac.org/forum
I'm not sure the frame width on your Cad, but FWIW, I used a '77 Seville subframe on my '49 and it fit great, and works super. Might be worth...
OK, we all like Sombrero's, me included, and this is my favorite way to use at least one of them...[ATTACH]
My Dad would say if something was crooked it was "wumpy-jawed", or "slanch-wise".
Here's a pen/ink drawing done of my '39 Pontiac sedan done by my best friend Bub Johnson, now sadly departed....and done from memory, the car...
Here's the way I run mine on the Cad, and they are original ones AND they both stick out the same distance....just a problem with the guy taking...
I'd send a couple of pics to the Photoshop gurus in the Photoshop Thread and ask for some ideas on it....might be interesting.
