The Jalopy Journal
Dont destroy the old frame, remove the vin and sell it....
You'll need to use 32-34 spring perches for it to work
Glad to hear you came up on a carb! What happened to your facebook, you get thrown in FB Jail?
Not to knock TROG, but they declined me for media coverage.
I snuck in, shot the event, and now have the most watched video of their event.
This thing is wicked cool

Well this followed me home. For $400 not too bad!
Tudor Sedan, couple inches chopped off. Also looking for a 30/31 driver door if anyone has one! [ATTACH]
I think Ive seen the TROG build thread for this or something?
Looks like a fun car!
Just sent them a message, thanks nick!
Any recommendation where I should look for either? I made a post on partswapper
I've got a '40 center in a wide five 16x3.5 and its too small
Hate to bump a super old thread, but can you use any wheels other than the '39 Lincoln wheels? Having a hard time finding any info on this.
Meh I've ran worse pitted wheels. Im making these wheels more as decoration than anything else. If I even did run them, it'd be on a banger so...
I'd rather make some 16x3.5, as i'd like the challenge. Those widened wide five wheels look pretty damn good!
Im not sure, Im in Santa Barbara CA
Found I could run 39 lincoln centers
I want 3.5" x 16 wheels without running wide 5
I just went and measured, the new center is from a 16” wheel
So I decided to remove the rivets of the two wide five 16x3.5 wheels to change out the centers for 5x5.5
Is there a certain center that I use to...
If you find yourself more in love with that 6-1 head, Ill buy the lion3 off of you ;)
True.. Im still looking for a head
Has anyone heard of the new Rocket 428 made by Yapp? Jumped on the waiting list for one!
Do you guys know any specific center that will fit?
While keeping myself inside during this quarantine, Ive decided to do some tinkering.
I have a few 40-48 16x4.5 wheels, and a few 40 16x3.5 wide...
I’m a month away from turning 22.
My first hot rod, being built from money saved by not buying textbooks and working my butt off inbetween...
If you want, I can send pictures when it's light out!
Yessir. It's a stock manifold that someone brazed on a flange for a stromberg.
Thinking about ditching it and running my stock stuff
