Looks to be the original tranny with original shifters coming through the floor and (huge) rear diff. It's a work horse with a big flat bed.

I do not see 6 screws.
There are only 3 screws on the base, plus a little plug that (once removed) has no screw/fastener below it.
Ok, 6 screws all from the bottom of the base of the carb I assume and nothing else.
Should the (4) dowels used for alignment just pull straight...
I have a 57 Caddy Eldorado - Original Motor is the 365 ci with dual quads (Carter WCFB)
The motor is at the machine shop being rebuilt.
I've looked on several websites as well as eb-y but no luck.
My 57 Eldo has the original Aluminum Sabre wheels but is missing the center caps....

The manifold arrived today.
It has a casting # of: 1464580
I'll have it blasted and inspect it for cracks.
Original engine / tranny finally out of the car and at the rebuilder. Keeping her original,
