New tyres and wheels turned up
New Strange shafts
New Detroit Truetrac...

Probably just end up with an electric one.

So, after having no luck at all with selling my Coupe a rebuild is afoot.
Sold the flathead/T5 setup and got myself a 502 BBC & TH400
Complete rebuilt running driving Flathead
drivetrain out of my 40 Ford Coupe
Run a 9” in my 40 Coupe.
3.50 gears with a T5 S10 trans. Flathead V8 motor 150ish bhp.
Runs so much better than when it had 3.25 gears
You’ll definitely need a panhard rod to stop lateral movement
I’m running a similar setup but with a panhard rod
When setting up the panhard rod,...
Planning to put the fuel tank on the top. The floor is all going to be powder coated body colour. Then maybe sound deadened and a simple carpet....
I did mate yeh. Not too sure if they’ll need bead rolling as there is lot of support for the panels and it also keeps the floor flat.
More done on the rear floor panels.
Didn’t think it would have been difficult to sell this.
Looking for offers over £35000
Bloody handy working full time nights. Get to work on the car most days for a few hours.

Can’t wait to drive this thing. Gonna be scary/fun:D
A little bit more progress on the firewall. Nearly ready to be stripping it down again
Ah don’t worry about it. There is a general car show at Baston Lincs. Just search on FB for Baston Car Show

Potvin 3/8 cam with...
You have to come down to the car show in Baston in July.
I’ll have my 40 Coupe there as I doubt very much this will be done this year
A little bit more work on the trans tunnel and now started on the bulkhead.
Also modified and mounted my steering box.
It’s a land rover series...
Started on the floor and trans tunnel today. Slow job of measuring/cutting bending

Remade the rear rails again as I’d not made the axle cutout correct. Also started with a bit more work on the floor

It’s all new underneath, but with...
You can still see the numbers. I checked to make sure it all matched when I had the body off
I know what you mean. I’m not a 100% going to sell yet. Really need to think about it
Could well be yeh. Just fancy something quicker. If I was to change out the motor then I think it would detract from the value a bit.
Well the Coupe is finally finished. Just got the car back from the trimmers and I couldn’t be more pleased. Turned out better than expected....
God this seems to be taking forever. Hate waiting for parts to arrive.
Rear axle is back after being narrowed with all its brackets for coilovers...
