The Jalopy Journal
I think it looks waaay better than the stock unit. Great job!
WOW, just WOW!! What an incredible talent. Sure would like him to do my next pinstriping.
WOW, That was a great video. You guys sure looked like you were having a blast. I'm just curious, do you build your cars or are they imported from...
What BJR said.
You said in your post you would go to a 4" chop. So why is a 1/2" that big of a difference? Just saying, since you stated you don't want to chop...
Ok, this sounds stupid, but I use a popsicle stick. I take a utility knife and slice it thin on the flat side. I just push it under the cap till...
Try finding a piece of trim off another 41', like the hood or door and make your own. We had to do that when we built a phantom 48' Explorer.
Great pics, some really cool cars there. Thanks for posting them.
You're right, it looks good stock, but it also looks good with the chrome wheels. I have two set of wheels and tires for the roadster, steelies...
Man, you little roadster is just flat out bitchin!!!
I love the look of a raked car. Just about all the cars I've had over the years had some form of rake.
WOW dude that thing is CRAZY COOL!! I'd love to see it in person. Great work, you have some mad skills and an out of the box imagination. Bitchin!!
Looks like you cut up a fairly nice car to do that.
Great pictures! Thanks so much for posting them.
Thank you very much for sharing your trip. That sure looked like fun. I did a western version of old Route 66 from So Cal to Arizona.
Rear quarter window for me too. Other than that I think it's bitchin! Oh yeah I'd choose the coupe.
Ok, that was really cute. My gal and I really got a laugh out of that. Thanks.
Cool! Nice work on that banger motor. Maybe see you at the CHRR in Oct.
Wow Kev, great fab skills. That is sure looking good. Can't wait to see it on the road.
Can help you with the specifics, but I've seen it done with 34 front sheet metal and 46-48. Just don't remember where. Looked really cool!
Cool coupe! I agree different wheels and shifter and you're good to go. And be sure you go, as my avatar says " Drive' em.
Gotta say, that Buick is totally bitchin!. As HRP said I'd be on that like a duck on a June bug. As most all have said a few tweaks here and there...
Nice pictures, but did you have to ruin them with your name over each and every photo?
I'd use both welting and a sealant. I have just welting and if it rains, it leaks just a little. Some day I'll fix it.
Gotta agree with oldolds. Those tires do not go with the style of your car. Taller, narrower would look better and a nice looking treat pattern....
Ok, I'll weigh in on this. I think the 38 standard has much better looking front sheet metal than the deluxe. In fact I prefer the 38 standard to...
I run 28psi in the 165's on the front and 18psi in the 285's on the rear. Been doing this for 29 years and I've had no problems. Even did an 8500...
CHRR in Bakersfield latter part of Oct. It's a not to miss deal, you'll love it.
