I too will be running 14 chrome rev on my 57 convert.
Checking in again. Sad to say still building the 57 convert, sold my 55. Shooting for a nomad some day too.

I'm sure you know but....I'll say it anyway... make sure he doesn't grind off the engine stamping.

I too was going to suggest checking the timing. Make sure your harmonic balancer and timing marks are cohesive.
