I have a 1950 Chevy sedan, and want to mount spotlights through A-pillars. Does anyone have any details about how it has been done?
I only found...
About turning the engine with a breaker bar: IIRC my engine has a crank pulley from a '53, and again IIRC, a 3/4" square head fits reasonably well...
Also checked your another thread. I'm usually not so much in the shoeboxes, but your car is just perfect!
Awesome car, congrats!
Wow! That's just perfection. Less is definitely more.
I voted numer 4: Norman Wesp's 59 Chevy, and was actually a little surprised that so mild custom made it to fifth in 1960. In 2018 it was 8th.
Looks like a great car!

Didn't find any on the I & I Reproduction's listing either.
Anyone know a source for this trim?

My project is a 2-door Chevy sedan. It's a very mild very early 50's style custom. I don't have any trim pieces yet. I know I'd have to shorten...
I've been looking for used 1949 - 1950 Pontiac side spears for some time, but haven't found a set in restorable condition. Do someone make them...

Edit: Thanks for moving the thread here!
I'm working on a 1950 chevy. I'm swapping the original manual transmission for a Powerglide from a...

Also, it would be a lot of work to change the whole drivetrain...
Man, merc 4-door is very high on my list of dream cars.
Your chop looks great!
That regulator is a nice "gizmo", definitely rare!
I'm working on a '50 that will also have a 261.
It's a matter of...
Thank You, Rik! That's just what I expected, or at least hoped to find here; not so many slammed to the ground cars.
Would be great to see more...

Thank you for the new structure!
This seems like the perfect solution for all!
For me this makes the HAMB much more appealing. It's been kind of...

That is so cool!! :D
Just amazing! I wouldn't do any changes to her either.
First make sure you know if the ports are for a full flow or for a side flow oil filter!
To OP, sorry, I have no pics of trunk. I'm not there yet with my car, but am also interested to see if someone chimes in with...
