It is not a 33 or 34 Ford truck grille shell, get the right one and move on.

The radiator is what locates the grille shell. The radiator mounts are triangles if front of the cross member. There are small brackets attached...

I believe a 50 Buick still has a torque tube. Hard to adapt a newer unit to unless you use the torque tube eliminator kit.
