There were probably more moved up into Super Stock than any other class.
It was most likely an easier move with a cam and intake change.
Narrow wheels and low tire pressure would be my guess.
But you can get 100 octane at the pump in Germany, as you could here when pump gas was required for Stockers and other classes.
