The Jalopy Journal
Good thread. I'm looking for options to run when pulling a camper.
250 straight six with sm420 granny low, 308 rear gears in my 52 gmc. Hauls and tows just fine. Great on gas mileage and will cruise at 70mph
Weird, I just got Grundy for my RPU last fall and my daily is a 54 Buick. They didn't say a thing.
Can you cut a piece of colored plexi and make a couple clips? Might be pretty easy
Good looking truck!
I brought my daughter home from the hospital in my Buick. I, like you installed lap belts in the back. Her car seat doesn't move at all. Just be...
My wife doesn't believe me when I say it'll be a fast project. She groups them by "half day" and "all day".
Found the culprit. Who knew such a tiny hole could leak so much? Little weld fixed it......hopefully.
Well unfortunately I have to drop the pan again. It was still leaking the fresh oil out when I got home last night. Must have a pinhole in the pan...
Yep, look for 2 way momentary toggle switch for airride
I'm beating my head against the wall here. I just replaced the rear main seal and pan gaskets on the flathead in my rpu last night. I went to the...

@Jalopy Joker Fastcar1953 has you covered...
@Austin kays Let's cruise these thangs
@badvolvo I loved seeing the Vette get it down the track!
@fastcar1953 Thanks man. It made it, so I'd call it a success! Good to meet you and your wife.
Had a great time. It was definitely muddy and my head got fried from the 2 hour drive home in the roadster!
When I made the the windshield frame for my T, I welded the bolts inside the frame. Then the tapered cone straddles the frame. Wing nut on the...
My 52 doesn't have any of the stuff you mentioned and it's quiet at highway speeds
Let's hope the rain stays away
Have you tried one off a Harley? I use them when I can. They are lower pressure than stock so the lights come on easier.
I've had to use a chunk of wood and a big pry bar before. I didn't think I would ever get it out, but managed to in the end.
That's one of the reasons I buy the premixed crap.
