You must not know how to solder and how low the temp is.
How about low temp soft solder and map gas torch .
When you bend metal it work hardens. If you want to bend it again , it will need to be annealed.

Pistons don't melt because there water and oil cooled. Take away the water and oil and see what happens. Heads are air and water cooled. Samething
1963 Pontiac HO 421 had factory cast aluminum headers. Did not work very well. They will melt.

You may have the rare 427 FE Ford hemi.
The 427 bore 4.2328 and compression height is 1.753 - 1.757.
Pontiac did not have that big of bore . I think there Chrysler hemi. What does it say on the box? Not very clear th read?
