Yes basically. My dad pulled it all the way, for drag racing. So the trans thinks you are at wide open throttle.
Cable linkage at transmission. Guessing this is a aftermarket piece, comparing it to the stock linkage on my spare transmission.
I still can't decide if I want to mount the handle of the cable to the floor pan by my shifter, or on the dash like it was.

I'm using a master cylinder from Speedway made for a 55-66 GM. With a 1" bore
I'll try to find the specs on the master cylinder, and wheel cylinders. I'm only rear brakes, ford 9" drums
