Those openings are for exhaust tips. Extremely difficult to find. The tips are actuallly chromed castings. Most have suffered from exhaust/ acid...
Those Mercury speedsters got my attention. Really got a great look. Not real familiar with the Frontenac stuff but thought they were OHV...
Hubs are vintage Frankland race car stuff. Can't take credit for the build. Just a caretaker.

Not to belabor the point but the detail, the engineering, the reengineering, research, the fabrication, the craft, the artistry... it's all there....
Building the car ... think all the superlatives have been used up. Doing the documentation to share is above and beyond. Loving the book. Cheers
