You might as update the motor/trans while you’re at it, better brakes would be nice. Oh yeah new dual exhaust would be real cool.

I’m pretty sure you can get side mounts that leave the motor in the stock location.
Most of the add on side motor mounts kits that I’ve seen move the motor forward 3/4” to allow more room for the distributor. Not necessary but...
