I'm a technical writer – that means I sit in front of a computer and stare into the monitor all day long. So I decided, I need something "real" in my life, something to get my hands dirty and greasy.

That's why I like to work on my car or my motorcycles, why I actually need it for life. The fresh smell of burnt fossil fuel, the smooth idle of an inline-8...with the mass of a boat anker. What in the world (except for my lovely wife) could ever beat that?
