Jerry Russo

Jerry "The Rat" Russo, has been involved in drag racing and hot rods since 1963. He started by packing the parachute and mixing the fuel for a A/F dragster. With a desire to learn more, he attended the Center for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI as a transportation design major. Here, he learnt, “form follows function”, along with some of the processes to build them. After school, he earned an auto body repair license, (a Canadian thing, EH!) In 1979, Jerry opened his first shop in Pomona, CA. There he did a lot of fiberglass, aluminum and chassis repairs. From repairing, he started building chassis, mounting bodies, and complete aluminum interiors.
