Looking for some ideas here, the wife wants to know what I want for Christmas and I am thinking of Kustom books. Any suggestions of must haves welcome. (Already have the Barris Custom technique series)

It isn't a kustom book, but I REALLY recommend "Cars of the Fabulous 50s" by the editors of Consumer's Guide. It is packed with photos of stock cars, model by model, year by year, and a fair amount of useful info, too. I sit and flip through mine every few weeks, looking for trim pieces and other details that I might use on a custom. "Cars of the Fantastic 40s" isn't quite as good, but still interesting. Both books can be had cheap if you look around. I even saw them for sale at Cracker Barrel restaurants!
John the B & Q catalogue had to be reprinted as most of the chrome handle/knob stock is now unavaible due to shops being brought out by the lorry load especially on the south coast...

Photos are fantastic. Good section on Gene W. & Larry Watson. I too recommend Kustoms Illustrated.
It seems my Kustom library is more complete than I thought are there any recent releases Kustom or traditional Hot Rod. I'm getting desperate here I don't need more socks!
