Does anyone know of anyone painting cars in northeast pa? It seems everyone wants to do only insurance work anymore. Its a rustfree car not something thats going to tie up a shop a long time. thanks for any help
Quite a while ago I had some paint work done which was outstanding. I recommended the shop to my neighbor who wanted to get his OT Honda painted. The painter who painted my car quit and a new painter painted the Honda. It was by far the worst paint job I've ever seen. It looked like he used a broom. Since then I've been reluctant to ever recommend another shop. It seems painters come and go like the wind. I now do my own painting. At least I know who to blame.
If you want a nice job from a second-generation custom painter with a solid reputation, here's your guy: http://www.korekdesigns.com/
I have a buddy in Erie that paints and is on the hamb. Send me a pm and I can forward you his contact info if you'd like
Don't know if he would do it, but you could try Dick Robinson in the Fort Washington area. Dick is a top notch Corvette guy, but has also done some vintage hot rods and muscle era cars (and has done equally-well with them).
