Technical Nailhead Mystery

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by chopsaw209, Apr 28, 2014.

  1. Ok boys,

I've got a pair of blocks which were given to me which I thought were 401 Nailheads. I don't have any Buick engine experience and can't seem to find any number sequence on any of the Buick websites or here that tell me thats what these blocks are other than there is a 401 cast into the side of the block.
My number sequence is way off of all the nailhead lists that I have seen

I'm wondering if they could be Canadian blocks? Or for all I know they could be something completely different.

Have a look at the pics and feel free to ridicule or pass on your wisdom, either one is cool :D
