Lots of mopars and some others. Here's some pictures I took today from a collection in Princeton, WV. I have more pictures I may resize and post later. Most everything is for sale. He specializes in Mopars, but has some other cars as well. Easily over several hundred cars. Thought I'd share... enjoy!
Did any of those Dodges have a dealer emblem on back that read "Duncan-Catron Motor Co?" My great-uncle owned that Dodge dealership in Beckley. I would love to have one of those emblems
I didn't notice any, but I didn't get to look every car over. If I come across one though, I'll get it for you. I'll look closer at the cars he has next time I'm over there also.
That's Benny Buckner's place. He'll talk yer ear off. If you can keep up with him, you got a friend for life. Also, if you have, a part/car, what he has been looking for, you will be on his Christmas card list. However, his prices are in the 'balls on a giraffe' territory.
Yes these are from Benny's place. He is a great guy and yeah, he'll talk all day as long as you will stay and talk with him. I have heard others say he was high on his prices, however, he seemed to be very fair to me and my friend that was with me. He priced a few cars to me (that I was interested in) in a range I thought was fair, without giving them away of course. Things may have changed though, he did say he was getting to old to fix them all and wanted people to get some of them and fix them. Here's a few more pictures, mostly non mopar. 57 Pontiac 2 door hardtop super chief..very solid car. Would like to had brought this one home I thought this old Packard was cool along with the advertisement on the door.
I'd be interested in one of the 57 Dodges There's a gold/white 2dr hdtp and can only see the front end of a coral(?) and black one, under the awning. Is it best to contact Bennie, or can you be talked into acting as a liaison? thnx gatz
About 280 miles or so, 4 1/2 hours maybe? He had many 57 Dodge's. I think he told me he had more of those than any other car. I think the one under the awning was a wagon. I'll PM you his contact information in a few and you can call and talk to him. I'll give you my name and info and you can tell him I sent you.
Catch any price on that '57 Plymouth Convertible? I have a '57 Plaza sitting in the wings that I'd gladly cut up as a donor....
