looking for some transmission fluid for my girl's '55 fordomatic, type F is what i want.
i know there are many opinions and facts about what fluids are compatible with the trans. or that supercede type F fluid, but i'd like to get my hands on type F.
does anybody have a good source for the stuff? i searched my local napa store and rolled snake eyes. my source for it in las vegas has no more and doesn't plan to get any more, so i'm in a jam here.

any help would be greatly appreciated...

    Even Walmart sells it.....

  7. I have never known it to be a problem getting it. Local parts stores usually stock whatever parts/supplies that pertain to the neighborhood they are located so if you don't find it at your local store, call another one in another neighborhood.

any store that handles Super Smitty's (Super S) as a line will have it and it will be priced bargain basement. it's a good brand, just low priced. sold 2 quarts this afternoon, in fact.

I bought 1/2 case from local parts store. They had to go to their warehouse and said that was the last they would be able to get.
