Loving it.but at one point I was thinking you planed on having the floor set down lower by turning the 1x3 box tube or what ever it is,braces sideways not up?

Been watching this one. Way cool!

One question, How high is the top of the door so that you can still step over and into the car? Seems awfully low in the first page pic.

    It's still a 'walk-in'.
I helped build 5 or 6 Coupes and Roadsters like this in '55-'58. It was truly the 'rage'.
    Looow....

Wish I hadn't done that to my '30 'A' roadster 7" over the Deuce rails...AAGGH!

Jeff, Talked to you a little at Jefferson on Saturday your car looks sweet I hope you get it running in time for the show. My car is the one on my avatar. I have a few pictures and history about the car under 1931 dodge. You guys do some great work nice to see it coming from Wisconsin. Jack

I really really like that car! It so awesome, odd and so different!!

The combo of heavy channel, no doors, poor-mans 32 grill (substitute, 35 commercial?), unique interior, fenders and a car that look long and sleek. This is Truly a one-off!!

Please show more off this wonderful rod!
So you are not gonna re-paint in Tony Danza yellow? Just keep it look half way between broken and fixet?
Or did I miss understand you?

It is such a cool old hot rod -- full hood makes it.

I LOVE those wheel covers (the white ones) any idea what they are originally from?
    great looking ride for sure!

  18. What a sweet build. The stuff that keeps dropping out of rodding history is nuts. Where in the hell did that thing come from ? Looks like its had some smiles under its belt.

I think I remember those from a '46 Dodge (larger Chrysler product, at lease) They were all finished in white.
