Heads Up .... Be careful if you live in this area on Monday ... Consider putting your car(s) in the garage or under shelter and if you are planning on hauling a car on an open trailer in this area ...... Not such a good idea .... Jim
Jim Thanx for all the tips yesterday. Found an enclosed shipper that will do the job you and I discussed. He's picking it up 2morrow. Don in Duncan OK Sent from the wooden crank phone in m bathroom
Things are suppose to get nasty here today. They cancelled the airshow at the airforce base due to the incoming weather.
Whole middle America really, we had a huge thunder/hailstorm last night, looks like over an inch of rain. Looks like it should stick around all week with cool temps. Colorado is looking at heavy snows.
Warnings are out for the next few days here in our area! Hate this kind of weather, but, at least it's not Snowing !
Hey Don, I thought of you as I was creating this thread .... I was hoping you weren't going after that cat this weekend. Good to talk with you ! Jim
Today is the anniversary of that huge tornado breakout in 2011. Don't think it can't happen again. Entire counties in Alabama were without power for a long time.
We had 3 tornados in my area today. It was in the upper 70'2 here today, but is only to be in the mid 50's most of next week. It does look like nasty weather has sarted all over the midwest
Hail is some nasty stuff.....these pieces were pingpong ball sized before the monsoon down-pour that came after the hail storm. Totaled my new 6-month old OT Challenger. Some of you phoenix area guys will remember the storm from 2010.
In Dec. 2010 bought a brand new Challenger from Bill Luke Dodge (in Phoenix) that had hail damage from that storm. The hood, roof and decklid look a little like the surface of the moon, but I drove out of there in a car with 57 miles on the clock and a 10 year, 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty at $9,000 less than list price.
