    Hey guys and gals! Just started diggin' into my '51 Cranbrook and wanted to share the progress and hopefully get some advice/direction. This is my first project and I am totally overwhelmed lol! Lets get the party started!

    Thanks guys! Oh man where do I start!? The chop that was done to it wasn't the best. I want to covert it to a 2 door. Put air ride in her. And im thinking about the rear fenders to make it look a little longer. I am going to school for welding so I know thats gonna come in handy! Lol. I'm going to be posting pictures of the process. All the work will be done by me in my garage.

    Cool car! I have a 49 plymouth but I kinda like the looks of the 51s better. Especially Chopped :)

    Welcome from Ohio. Good luck with your ride. Personally I would stick with the more door. Both my 64 and 56 are sedans. I have had many a coupe owner come over and compliment my big new Yorker. Bag it and smooth it if you like but she is a good lookin ride. what are you using for a power plant?

    Right now im thinking of using the flat 6. We will see once I get the body off.

  14. Welcome from Nebraska. I like the four Doors, I have two of my own, As I get older and take friends with me it is a lot easier to get in the back.
