I made a push today. I've been working on various parts, set up the front clip to see where I'm at.some shrinking and stretching was needed.

Today I had some direction so armed with a zillion measurements I made some cowl feet, and got the A pillars mounted to the subrails! Definitely a milestone. The b-pillars
Kind of fell in line and after some headaches I got the drivers belt line lined up, however my door belt line is a slightly different width than the 1/4. I think I can work it .I kind of have a plan.

I ended up having to mess with the tail pan area to get the pillars in line, and that all fits better now too. I test fit my trunk floor and it fits great now. Once these doors and pillars are in the bag I'm gonna be able to open all kinds of whoopass

Nate, I'm happy for you. It's good to see that you are getting it pinned down and pieces are starting to fall in place if I can use that expression. Your front end is looking very good. I guess you'll have the floors in in no time. Keep up the great work. I have a nice trans cover left over from mine if you can use it.
Best regards and Good Luck with all your endeavors, KB.

Thanks! Made some b pillar supports, got the body mounted on the drivers side and the door opens and closes freely.i was kind of in the zone so I didn't get a lot of pics. Also got one of them fancy drake fenders. I finally feel like things are starting to move in the right direction. Time to go to work !!!!!

Bad side pic here's a better one. To get the belt line right was a chore. I had to separate the 1/4 to get behind the pillar to work.

So now it's on to rebuilding the b-pillars. I got to use Marshalls eckold hand former which made things easier.

Got the drivers door all lined up took most of the day. , and hammered out the wheel well patch , then planished it out and test fit it. This side of the car is rolling along pretty good now. The last pic the 1/4 patch is just mocked up.

Nate, Your creation of the body pillars continues to impress me and I'm sure many others that are following your thread. You have inspired me to push on to completion on mine and I'm happy to report I just pulled mine from the paint booth. There is light at the end of the tunnel!

All four pillars are mounted, and I pulled the tail pan back out and compared it to the stock one, and fixed it.
