Hot Rods Going to LA

Any suggestions while I'm in LA. Real quick visit. Going to Peterson museum for sure. Only hotrod related suggestions will be considered.

 

Doors locked, windows rolled up at all times. Nothing left in view
when away from vehicle.
It may be tempting, but stay away from down town and hollyweird

Petersen ok depending on what's on display, NHRA. Museum in Pomona is very good, Donut Derelicts in Huntington Beach Saturday morning at 6:00 am good cruise

Museum in Pomona is very good

 

Doughnut derelict and be there EARLY like 530 am! Mooneyes is great!

 

Reid rod shop 424 W Chapman Ave, Orange, CA 92866, and Limework.

 

NOT any more than any other big city.

 

Donut Derelicts is always our first saturday stop after arriving from Australia.We arrive 30th May for LA Roadster Show

 

If in Pomona, Early Ford Shop San Dimas is cool

 

Check out the nethercutt collection and bobs big boy taluca lake on friday nights.
Not sure where k88 is hanging out but I wouldnt panic that much. Traffic sucks.

If you come to the Petersen on Tuesday, I'm the vault tour guide at 11 and 3. I probably am more familiar with the hot rod stuff than the other Petersen docents. I'm not there on other days.
